There are lots of activities to do at Waddow Hall for which there will be an extra charge, prices range from 60p to £8.00 per activity and include..
Canoeing, Kayaking, Rafting, Low ropes, Boulder/Crag Climbing, Abseiling, flack lining, Tree climbing, Crate Challenge, Mountain biking, night lining, trampolining, Grass sledging, Pioneering, parachute games, earthball, curling, 9 hole putting, trailing, orienteering and adventure playground.
And for the less energetic (which will be most of us. lol) there are:
Archery, circus skills, e-zone, pond dipping, soap stone carving and Giant game
Waddow Hall is accessible from all parts of the country, and it has good road and rail links.
Take the A59 to Clitheroe, then the B6478 Waddington Road. Waddow is first left after crossing the River Ribble, approximately 1.5 miles from Clitheroe Town.
The AA, RAC, and Multimap all offer route planning. If you're travelling by road and using a satellite navigation system, the postcode of Waddow Hall is BB7 3LD
National Express coaches operate throughout the year from most of their 1500 destinations served within the UK. Further details are available from any National Express Agent, or the Enquiry Centre, telephone 08705 808080. From Blackburn buses leave outside the railway station and take 45 minutes to Clitheroe. From Manchester, Chorlton Street Bus Station, the journey takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.
There is a direct link from Manchester to Clitheroe. From Preston change at Blackburn for Clitheroe.
To Manchester, Liverpool (John Lennon) or Blackpool and then train to Clitheroe (via Preston and Blackburn) and taxi to the Hall.

The Main Hall can accommodate up to 60 guests in 29 en-suite single, twin and family rooms. All bedrooms are equipped with tea-making facilities. Guests are welcome to explore the estate and enjoy the spectacular views across the Ribble Valley.
The Main Hall is suitable for wheelchair users and there are two ground-floor bedrooms and a first-floor bedroom suitable for guests with disabilities.
There are two reception rooms, five well-appointed training rooms including a small IT suite, a large dining room and cosy television lounge. Wifi is available in some parts of the Hall.
The Hall has a licensed bar, open daily for residents and guests.
IIH UK have secured the whole of Waddow Hall for ourselves this weekend.
Booking must be done through IIH UK. To book please e-mail info@iih.org.uk putting 'Weekender 2011' in the subject line. Please include all names and ages of those attending including all children and babies. Please state if you want a family room or if you require seperate rooms please state how many rooms you require and the occupants of each room. Children under 16 years of age must share with an adult. Remember to state which Option you are booking.. 1) Three nights.. 2) Friday and Saturday night. 3) Saturday and Sunday night. (prices are on our FAQ's page) Once booked you will receive your unique booking reference, just pay your deposit of £25.00 per person to IIH UK either by cheque to IIH UK, 31 Wellington Street, St. Johns, Blackburn. BB1 8AF or into our bank account at Nat West, Account number: 33607184 Sort Code: 60-40-09. Don't forget to quote your unique booking reference in all correspondence. Once payments have cleared you will be sent your 'Booking Confirmation' by e-mail with details of how to pay for the remainder of your booking.
