IIH Weekender 2008

"It Could Be You!"

"Two hours of your life could mean the rest of someone else's"

Freqently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Here at IIHWeekender.org, we've come up with a novel idea - rather than trying to second guess you and provide answers to the questions we think visitors might want to know, we thought we'd let you ask just what you want to know, and we'll come along and answer the questions.

Here's how it works. Using the box below, enter your question. An email will be sent to the team to let us know we've got a question, and we'll then pop along here to check out what you want to know and reply right here on the page. You get the answers to the questions you really want to know rather than the ones we think you might want to know, and everyone else can see your question and our reply, so we don't find ourselves repeating the same answers umpteen times. Smart, huh?

How much does the weekend cost?

There's no charge for the weekender itself, but obviously if you stay at the holiday park there are accommodation costs. Using the 'Day Pass' option costs £5, but you must let us know beforehand if you're planning on using this option as one of the team will have to 'sign you in'. The First Aid course that's part of the weekend's activities costs £2.

Will there be a weekender next year?

Yes, there will be. As soon as we've finished this year's we'll be starting to think about next year's (though maybe we'll give the team a couple of weeks to recover from this one first ;-)). If you want to keep up to date with plans for next year's event, you can sign up on our mailing list (details on the "Contact Us" page) as the mailing list will be the first place we release details of what we have planned.

How will we know where the HQ van is?

As soon as the Team get to the holiday park we'll leave details of where to find us with the park's reception so that Weekenders can find out where we are. For anyone who's let us know their mobile number beforehand we'll text you details of where to find us too.

Will next years weekender be at the same Holiday Park?

Probably not. After a short break to recover from this year's, the team will shortly be starting to research next year's event and possible venues (the holiday park wasn't ideal for holding meetings etc.), but we'll try to come up with something that will both meet the requirements for IIH UK official meetings and have suitable facilities for all the family. News of our progress will be distributed on our mailing list first, so sign up on the contact page to keep up to date with all that's going on.
